In the last twelve months I built two data-driven products on my own, a controlling platform for Dynamics 365 in daily use and a quantitative trading system. My next step: an international leadership role where leadership, engineering and 5 languages come together.

Klarsicht

A platform of its own that sits as a layer on top of Microsoft Dynamics 365. A connector reads projects, time bookings, budgets and invoices live from D365. On top runs an application that helps project leads, the PMO and management make better decisions. D365 stays the single source of truth, nobody maintains data twice.

Strategy Graveyard

A research lab and trading system for US equities. The website shows the validation process and documents openly why every rejected strategy failed. Evidence counts for more than a pretty backtest.

  • Data platform with more than 83 GB: minute bars for about 14,700 US stocks, daily bars for 16,000 symbols, earnings data since 2010 and a factor library with 19.7 million rows
  • Strict validation with walk-forward tests, Bonferroni correction and a locked out-of-sample period: only 1 of 31 hypotheses passed the statistical validation
  • Automated execution against an Interactive Brokers paper account, with per-strategy risk budgets, kill switches and Telegram control
  • AI agent reads new research papers and scores them as strategy ideas

What have you built yourself?

Two products, both built on my own: Klarsicht, a controlling platform on top of Dynamics 365 for project leads, the PMO and management (1,868 commits, 133 releases, in daily use), and Strategy Graveyard, a research and trading system for US equities in Python with a strict validation process and automated execution at Interactive Brokers.

How do you work with large datasets?

With data mining, meaning the search for patterns in large datasets, and with analytics, meaning preparing the data for decisions. In Strategy Graveyard I process more than 83 GB of market data with millions of rows and test every trading idea statistically. It deliberately runs lean with Parquet and pandas on one machine, without a distributed big data cluster. In Klarsicht I bring together data from about 15 D365 entities and analyse it for project leads, the PMO and management.

What is your focus?

Leading international teams. I coordinate teams across countries and languages, own budget, resources and stakeholders, and bring projects home. My technical background in iOS, backend and AI lets me make decisions with the teams as a peer.

What languages can you work in?

German and English fluent, Spanish and Catalan native, Italian at near-native level.

Are you more of a developer or a project lead?

My focus is leadership: since 2017 I have led automotive and banking projects as Project Lead. I came up through development (Swift/Objective-C since 2011) and I still build, as my two products show.
